Rachel Mariott, 1797-1870, who's her daddy?

Classification: Query
Surnames: Marriot, Champayne, Cronmiller

My Rachel was born in Maryland about 1797, based on her age in 1850-1860 census records. The only record I have that gives her maiden name, Marriott, is her marriage record.

I am trying to connect my Rachel with one of the numerous Marriott clans residing in Anne Arundel and Baltimore counties in the early 19th century. The name was quite popular within the Marriott family as I've encountered at least one in nearly every family. My hope is that her birth year and marriage partner will held distinguish her among the crowd.

Here are a few facts I've gleaned from records:

--Rachel Marriott married Henry Champayne at the First Methodist Episcopal Church, Baltimore City Station,
on 16 Nov 1819.

--She bore at least two children that lived to adulthood based on the US census and a French spoliation claim deposition: Paul H. Champayne (b 1823) and Mary Jane Champayne (b 1827). I have no record of a marriage for Paul. Mary Jane married William Welling Cronmiller about 1850.

--On the 1850 Census for 1st District, Baltimore Co, MD, Rachel is listed as a widow living in the household of her brother-in-law Samuel Scott.

--On the 1860 Census for Cordova P.O., Grant Co, KY, Rachel is listed as living in the household of her son-in-law William Welling Cronmiller. Both of her children and three Cronmiller grandchildren are also members of the household. The men's occupations are both listed as "Miller."

--An obituary abstracted from the Baltimore Sun states that Rachel Ann Champayne died 23 Nov 1870.

Has anyone encountered this particular Rachel in their Marriott lines?
