Does any of your Clark family researchers know anything of the following Clark family who supposedly came from Wash. Co. (Hagerstown) Md.
The following info. on the Clark family that I'm researching, came from the 1883 History of Defiance Co.,Oh. in the biog. of Solomon Bartholomew Yeagley, which says his wife Elizabeth Clark b. ca. 1779 in the Hagerstown, Md. area & who he married in 1796 in Pa. (Fayette Co.,Pa. area?) that she had 4 younger brothers who were in the War of 1812 & they were Enos Amos Clark b. 10/25/1791, John Clark, George Clark & James Clark. Enos went to the Fayette Co.,Pa. area where he married 3/2/1815 to Anna Trembly, then went down Ohio River to Greenup Co.,Ky., then to Monroe Co.,Oh., then over into Bartholomew & Brown Cos.,In.
Elizabeth (Clark) Yeagley & her husband left the Fayette Co.,Pa. area & went over into Columbiana Co.,Oh. She died in 1843 next door in Stark Co.,Oh. & Bartholomew went farther west to Defiance Co.,Oh. where he died in 1863.
Does Clark researcher have anything to substantiate this or any other info. on the parents of the above Clark siblings?
Thanks for any help or clues.
Please respond right away if you possibly can.
