It is me again - a relative of Lazarus Hicks and a descendant of Catherine Mowen Stuff. I am descended from Thomas Parks and Elizabeth Root who were married in 1805 in Washington Co., MD. In the 1810 Census of Jerusalem, Washington Co., MD Thomas Parks appears on the same page with Jacob Root and Barbara Root (the former being the son of Barbara, I presume). Do you know if Jacob Root and Barbara Hauser had a daughter named Elizabeth?

Thomas was born ca. 1780 in Ireland and died after 1860 in Washington Co., MD. Elizabeth was deceased by 1860. Their children were Susan, Elizabeth, Margaret, John, Maria, Sarah, Joseph, and Thomas Jr. Margaret, who married Georoge Mace, was my ancestor.
