Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. Do you have the names for the children of Jacob Root, Sr. and Barbara? So far I have: Barbara, 1761; Anna, est. 1763; Susannah, 1766; Jacob, 1770; Magdalena, est. 1772; and Esther, 1774.

My Elizabeth Root is presumed to have been born in 1776.

Did the estate distribution of Mrs. Barbara Root indicate that her daughter, Elizabeth, was unmarried? I am almost certain that Elizabeth Root Parks was indeed a daughter of Jacob and Barbara. The Parks, Root, and Fasnacht families lived near to each other for many years.
