Seeking information on Elisabeth Shankle, d/o Adam and
Christiana Stoffel Shankle, b. ca. 1795 in Frederick County,
Md; md. Benjamin Adkins. Her mother died ca. 1800 and the
Stoffel grandparents removed to Washington County, Va taking
her brother, George, with them. Apparently, Elisabeth
remained in Frederick County. With whom did she live? Can
someone provide this information? I would appreciate it
