I am researching John Goldsmith who arrived in Northampton, Virginia Oct. 12, 1652 as an indentured servant to Anthony Hopkins/Hoskins at 13 years of age. He married Mary Long
(daughter of John Long) October 13, 1660 in Northampton Co. Va. Hungars Parish Church, Hungars Creek. Dec. 16, 1663 he acquired 50 acres In St. Marys Co., Maryland. February 5, 1666. He acquired 150 acres on the east side of Chesapeake
Bay at the head of the Manokin River. Sold this property to Wm. Polke July 12, 1667. He was living in Somerset Co.,
Maryland Nov. 1689 and died there in 1689. Any information
will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Carmelita Allen
