I too had wondered about the Chas. W. Peale biog.'s reference to Polly Wrench since my 5 grt grf Peter Countiss m. Rebecca Wrench, dau of William Wrench in Queen Anne's Co. Peter d. 174--, Q.A., Rebecca remarried Chr.Cross Routh,d. 177-. William Wrench had son William, Jr. and ?? I haven't completed further search along these lateral lines, but it appears these two families continued their relationship.I would have to go back thru my notes to cement this for you but at least this gives you a specific county in MD.
