Martha Lee Startt was one of my classmates at Catonsville High School in Catonsville, Maryland. Her father was Solomon Lee Startt (who went by S. Lee). Her grandfather was Herbert Stockton Startt, who went by his middle name. Her great-grandfather was Solomon Startt (born 1839, died 1899, will probated in Kent county in 1900). I have not figured out who her great-great grandfather was. There are many options. He maybe from "The Cliffs" on the north shore of the Chester River or the Startts that lived north and south of St. James United Methoidst Church.
