I'm not researching the Dorseys, and am not too familiar with the line - except all the Dorseys I grew up with! :) But I did want to suggest you go the the message board for the surname Dorsey (if you haven't already), then search "Maryland" or "Howard County" within that board. There are some Maryland and Howard County posts for Dorseys. Best of luck! I don't know if I can be of any help to you -- I grew up in and live in Northwest Howard County -- but I'll try.
