Thank you for your replies. Jennie married William Moses Barker in Oakland, Garrett Co. MD on Dec 5, 1887. Jennie was reported to have been born in WV but can find no record, so because she was married in MD, I am following the possibility she was from there. She was white.
I am still searching for names of her parents.

Someone has done a family tree on Jennie as well as William

Seems Jennie was born in 1866 gilmer Wv.. married in MD
and died at the age of 29 in 1895 in WV

she and William, who was born 1864-Monroe Ohio, and he died in 1944, gilmer, Wv had two children

William remarried in 1896, in Gilmer, Wv
his second wife was Mary Jemina Wilman
