I'm thinking William Chadd might be one of my ancestors.

I've been told William & wife Anne were listed as selling 69 acres H-132, in 1781, Frederick MD, which he promptly sold.

1764 Wm patented vacant land 10 ac, he named Hit or Miss and Molley's Resort for 31 1/1 ac (Inhabitants of Frederick Co, MD Vol. 2. Would like rest of this article.

William was on a coroners July 25 Jan 1780 at Westminister Hundred Frederick (now Carroll Co).

1790 census Wm shows no males over 16, 1 uncer 16 and 3 females.

Any help on Anne's maiden name, or where to find names of Wm's descendants?
