I'd like to get a copy of a marriage license, and any application documents pertaining to it, that was issued in 1826. Could anyone tell me who to contact, and what's involved? I know that some county offices around the country either refuse to make copies of documents, or take a very long time to do them, so any tips you can pass along would be very welcome. Thank you!
