GRAUEL/CROWELL GRAUEL is the way this branch of my family wrote their name when they came from Germany. They lived in Berks Co.,PA and some went to Frederick Co.,MD. Later they changed the name to CROWELL. Is anyone working on this name in Frederick Co., if so we could exchange info. Thank you

I am searching for information on the family of Verner (Vernor, Vernon, Werner or Warren) Moon or Mohn and Catherine Crowley. I am trying to verify they had a child, Abraham Moon, who married Sophia Six first and then Mary Hull.

I have traced Abraham back to Frederick County and I've traced Vernor (or one of the others above) to Adams County Pa. Warren Moon and Catherine Crowley are listed as Abraham's parents in a book about the early pioneers of Garrett County Maryland. I've traced Vernor back to Germany but I need to make the connection between Abraham and Verner.
