Have any of the Beaver Dam researchers for Garber or other Brethren families happen to have seen ANY references to the following names in any Garber or other families' records?
John LANE b. ca. 1780 lived with Martin GARVER (Garber) -- Martin's house was used as the meeting house. John LANE was apprenticed to GARVER in 1794 "with no parents in this State" We desperately want to identify his parents.
Catherine BAKER, married John LANE in Jan 1805
Catherine Baker's parents were Joseph and Mary (no maiden name known) and lived about 5 miles away at Pipe Creek BAKER might have been spelled BECKER
We wonder if LANE could have been spelled differently? Maybe LEHN out of York Co PA???
The LANEs and some of the BAKERs moved to Washington Co PA in 1809
In later generations my LANE married GARBER in Washington Co PA.
ANY info would be greatly appreciated. I keep hoping that MY family will show up in ANOTHER family's Wills, Deeds, Probate, etc.
