I think we may have corresponded before too, as I believe you sent me a photo of Margaret. I grew up at The Store in Mountaindale across the road from Aunt Ida's house and the Union Chapel. My best buddy back in those days (we moved there in 1954) was Howard Fisher's daughter and she called Mrs. Rice "Aunt Ida" so I did too. I remember drinking a six cent bottle of Coke with a straw and Mr. Ed told me if I was going to live at the the store, I had to learn to drink from the bottle and he took my straw and showed me how it was done. I've been drinking from the bottle/can ever since. It's so maddening that when these people were alive and had their wits about them, you never think to say, "Where did you grow up?" or "What were your parents' names?"
