Does anyone have any information as to the parentage of Joel Keller and his wife Nancy Sheffer. I believe they were both born in Frederick County MD, but I can find no birth records. Joel was born ca. 1812 and died Aug 03, 1865; Nancy was born Apr 04, 1814 and died June 11, 1858. They are buried in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Middletown MD. I can not link Nancy to my Sheffer line. At first I thought Nancy's surname may have been Shaffer, even though the marriage license information listed her name as Sheffer. I found a death certificate for their daughter Amanda and it listed her parents as Joel Keller and Nancy Sheffer. Any help would be appreciated.
