Can anyone help me with or direct me to a source for the Colonial Tax List on Taylors Island 1760-1800. My ancestors were named Travis and it appears ownership of "Taylors Folly" was owned by William Travis (dc 1728-30), son Matthew(dc1740-42), who willed it to son Henry in 1756 or son William in 1774. In 1783, James Travis was taxed on it and he is the one I need to identify through the tax list 1760 until he left MD for western PA/VA.
