STONE Family in Maryland

I have recently began to assist my Uncle in the researching of our family.
At this time, we are at a THOMAS STONE, born about 1720, location unknown at this time and died 1791 in Prince William County, Virginia.
From his will, his wife was named Sarah (MNU, possibly Scranton?) and they had the following children:
1. James
2. George
3. Sarah
4. Mary
5. Elizabeth

At the time of his death he was living on a 152 acre plantation that was granted to him by THOMAS LORD FAIRFAX in 1743. This is the only land entry I can find for this THOMAS at the time. From his will he also owned land in the Military Tract in OHIO, but I cannot find how he came about that land.
I have been told that many relatives of WILLIAM STONE of Poynton Manor went to Virginia in about 1740 and settled in the area where this THOMAS STONE was. When THOMAS STONE was granted this land he was already listed as "of Prince William County"., which makes me wonder if he moved from else where, possibly Poynton Manor with the rest of the STONES and lived with his parents until the land grant of 1743, though by 1742 he already had one child.
In the same area of Prince William County, in the late 1600's, early 1700's there was already STONES living there, a THOMAS, who died in 1740, whose will have been lost, SAMUEL whos will was also lost and a FRANCIS, who I am trying to track down now.
If anyone has information that would help me I would be forever thankful!
James Stone
In researching these STONES, I do not find the THOMAS I am looking for, but find that alot of the descendants of WILLIAM STONE have not been totally researched.
