Searching for the parents of James Alexander, who lived in New Munster, Cecil Co., MD. He was born about 1715 and may have been a son of John and Mary (Wallace) Alexander. He moved to Amelia, VA about 1736. Ann's maiden name is unknown. Annabelle married William Bates 1735-40.

James was paid for one day as a witness for Mary Rutledge at the Amelia County Court held in August 1742. 1 Ed. by Hawbaker, Gary T., Lancaster Co., PA Quarter Sessions Abstracts Book 1, 1729-1742:40.
