I am seeking for the parents of Thomas GILLESPIE (b. 1719,) maybe in your County according to "Carolina Cradle",by Robert W. Ramsey. According to the author, the above people moved through, Chester County, to Lancaster County, into the Shenandoah Valley. Thomas was in Augusta Co., VA, where he married Naomi THOMPSON. They removed to Rowan County, NC. where they both died on 15 December 1796 and buried in Thyatira Presbyterian Church Graveyard. I need parents of Naomi also.
