While researching our BROWN ancestors, I found that an Andrew
TOPPER married Margaret BROWN about 1789. Margaret was born about 1772 in Taneytown,
Frederick Co. (Now
Carroll Co.) MD. The churchyard mentioned as Andrew's resting place is in Taneytown (see below).
This is what I found at Ancestry World Tree. I have not verified the information:

We are connected through Margaret BROWN's brother, John. Their father, Daniel BROWN, 1722 - 1802, Taneytown,
Frederick Co. (Carroll) MD, owned property behind St. Mary's Church in Silver Run (Beall's Choice/Brown's Neglect) until Daniel's death. Land record info provided by Mr. Horvath, HSCC.
Do you know if there is proof of any of the above BROWN/TOPPER information? I live in
Carroll Co. about 10 miles from
Adams Co PA and Taneytown MD, and plan to visit area Historical Societies and libraries for info. Any guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
I have much infomation from John BROWN (1753 MD - 1820
Cambria Co. PA) to date, and would be happy to share if we have a connection.
