Mr. Wesley
Harrison, a retired farmer, died on Monday, March 27, 1916, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. T.A. Conaway, near Mt. Airy, at 10 o'clock P.M., after a short illness, aged 83 years, 1 month and 25 days.
He is survived by the following children: Andrew T. Harrison, of
Brunswick, Md.; Wm. A. Harrison, and Mrs. Jesse F. Leatherwood, near Mt. Olive; Mrs. Thos. F. Gosnell and Edward J. Harrison, of Woodbine; Samuel C. Harrison, of Chambersburg, Pa.;
Grafton A. Harrison, Mrs. Wm. D. Burall, Mrs. John E. Naill and Mrs. Thos A. Conaway, all of Mt. Airy. He is also survived by two brothers, one sister, 39 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Harrison was a member of the M.E. Church for a number of years.
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. C.E. Ely, were held at Prospect Church and the interment was made in the church cemetery.
Mr. B.W. Bowman was the funeral director.
