Caroline County to wit:
Be it remembered that on this Sixteenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty one, came Mrs. Susan A. Pratt

and brought a Deed of bargain and sale with one endorsement thereon, and prayed to have the same enrolled among the records of Caroline County, and

on the same day and year aforesaid, the same deed and endorsement ?? enrolled as follows to wit:
This Deed, made this the fourth day of February, in the year eighteen hundred and eighty one, by Luke M. Fish and Mary A. Fish his wife, of Wise

County, and the State of Texas, Witnesseth, that in Consideration of Eight-Hundred dollars the said Luke M. Fish and Mary A. Fish his wife, do

grant undo Mrs. Susan A. Pratt, Wife of Charles L. Pratt of the City of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, all of that certain tract part or

parcel of tracts or parcels of land and premises, situated in the Fifth election district of Caroline County and State of Maryland, adjoining the

lands of the heirs of Nicholas Pratt, Manlove Scott, and the lands formerly owned by Henry Morobray, John H. Liveford, and James Walsh called

"Poplar Level Improved" or by whatsoever name or names the same may be called and known, and containing One-hindered and fifteen acres of land,

more or less. It being all of this same land which was formerly occupied by Rachael Lord, formerly Rachael Smith, late of Caroline County deceased

and which was conveyed unto Luke M. Fish aforesaid by John E. Nicholes and others heirs at law office said Racheal Lord, deceased by deed dated the

fourteenth day of February, in the year eighteen hundred and seventy seven and recorded Liber JWT No 3F, Folios 38 of v388 on office land record

Cooks for Caroline County aforesaid, reference being thereunto had, will now fully appeal and the said Luke M. Fish and Mary A. Fish, his wife, for

themselves their heirs and assigns, Covenant that they will warrant generally the lands and premises hereby conveyed. Witness our hands and Seals

sub-secretary a notary public office said State, in and for the County aforesaid, personally appeared Luke M. Fish and Mary A. Fish, his wife, and
