I am seeking additional information on the following family. I want to know of additional children/grandchildren and the parents of Walter Brown. Was he the son of a Baltimore merchant by the name of John Brown?

This Walter was a "gentleman farmer" of Ellicott City. His children were married in Baltimore County; he and much of his family were buried in New Elkridge Meeting House Cemetery and may or may not have been Quakers. He owned Brown's Tavern where he was Postmaster. His son Richard Brown was a "gentleman" in Prince George's County.
