Marilyn, Thank you very much for your responce. I'm not exactly sure what information was located at the State Archive, I was going on a lead someone had told me about for a St. Barnabus Church.
The actual search I am on is for any birth, christening,baptism,marriage or any others records leading up to the parents of one BENJAMIN ORICK b. abt 1765 in VA. What little evidence I do have would show that he(BENJAMIN) did originate from the Maryland ORRICKS.
I certainly appreciate what you have found and in the future any further info would certainly be welcome.
