I am completely stumped. Have traced my Hood line up to the point of William Hood, b. 1815 (married Matilda Hanson 1842.) William's mother = Elizabeth Hood, b. ~1790. However, she was apparently widowed quite early and I can not locate the name of her husband, nor do I know her maiden name.
Based upon the 1850 census, (AA Cty, Howard District, page 423 MDS5a839332) Elizabeth had at least 4 children I am aware of: William b. ~1815, Delia, b~1820, Rezin, b ~1824, Eliza A., b~1830.
Does anyone have information regarding the father's name of these children?

Any information would be appreciated.
