I'm looking for more information on my husband's g-g grandfather, Charles Wallace. I'm trying to trace the family back and seem to be "stuck" on Charles. I know he married Estelle (or Estella) Hughes on 20 September 1871 and that this was his second wife. Charles and Estelle had two children together, Meta and John. Charles died on 16 October 1876. I have his will and Meta, John and Estelle's death records to verify this information. I also found a transcription of his marriage to Estelle stating that he was a widower at the time and that he was a merchant. I need more information on him! A middle name...birth date...where he was born...parent's names...name of his first wife. I live in Kentucky, so a trip to Maryland isn't going to happen anytime soon. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
