"Abraham Johnson And Descendants", which was copyrighted 1939 by Annie Dent Davis. Her material is based, she says, on work done by her father, Edgar Johnson Davis prior to his death in 1937. The work cites no sources for the genealogical allegations.

One of the assertions is that Abraham Johnson (1769-1836) married Charity nee Collins Eckhart, a widow with three children. Charity's dates are 1776-1841.

There's an Elias ECKHART on the 1800 Allegany county census (pg 17, Cumberland), and he's the only Eckhart in Maryland. It shows two children (one of each) and two adults (one of each)

Does anyone with Eckhart connections show the names of Elias' children or wife?
