As far as I can figure, the adopted woman and I are second cousins which means that we share the same great grandfather. I have narrowed down the great grandfather to the best of my knowledge. I told her that he had four sons all of whom served overseas in WWII. It is my opinion that during this time, one of them had a relationship with a woman which produced either her mother or father. Since this relationship was not acknowledged, the best way to find out for certain which line she belongs to is to have a more conclusive blood test. Perhaps you could give me your opinion on my thought process.
