I stumbled across this site while researching a different name. My mother was from Fort Fairfield, so I had occasion to spend time in Fort, when I was younger. George and Norma Hockenhull were still farming in the late 1960s. His home and barn was about two miles out of Fort on the Caribou Rd on the right, but most of his farmed land was about 1 mile out of Fort on the Limestone Rd on the left. They did have one daughter, Sadie, who used to (Maybe still does) live in Alaska. To the person who posted that Norma's maiden name was that the Russell family who
owned and ran the restaurant in Fort for years in the 1950s-1960s?
