REUBEN K. LUCE died at 1 a.m. Thursday morning. He had been ill with diabetes since last sprinn and failed rapidly for the last 24 hours. He received the best medical treatment to be obtained and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Luce, did everything in their power to bring about his recovery. He was a bright and promising young man and the family have the sincere sympathy of all that knew him. The funeral was held Sunday here from the late home. Rev. T. R. Pentecost officiating. Interment was made in Mt. Repose Cemetery. George Parks and Mr. an Mrs. Walter Webb, of Augusta, Mr. and Mrs. Frank D. Luce and Miss Hazel Luce of Belfast, and Mrs. Fred Parks of China were among those attending the funeral from out of town.
