The descendants of Gideon and Mary (Vining) Parkman of Abington, MA & Skowhegan, ME will gather on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at the American Legion Hall, Maple St., Corinna, Maine for the 86th Parkman Family Association Reunion. The social hour begins at 11:00am followed by a potluck lunch at 12:00 noon. Please bring a favorite dish to share. Drinks and dessert will be provided by the host. Entertainment will be provided by descendants - so bring your musical instruments (play us a tune - sing a song), your jokes and your stories. An auction will round out the day. The Parkman Association is involved in a Parkman Surname DNA Project (check www.WorldFamilies.net for more information). The project is seeking any Parkman male to join the project.
