I am looking for any information on the children of Bryant and Jane Williams. Bryant was born in Me in 1777, the son of Obadiah and Hannah {Clifford}. He married Jane{surname unknown} abt 1800, and they had 7 children. He died after 1860 as he is listed in the 1860 census. Jane died about 1850.He is buried in the Jordan Cemetery. Can anyone tell me where that is located and what churches are nearby? I would greatly appreciate any information on this family.

There are two cemeteries named Jordan. One is located on Rte 153/43 between the towns of Athens and Hartland. Another is located in Waterford, Oxford County. I am not related to this family.

Bryant Williams and his wife Jane are buried in the Jordon Cemetery in Hartland, Maine. Bryant died June 13, 1865, age 88 years. Jane, his wife, d. Sept. 15, 185(5), age 78 years. Erected by Perthenia Ritchie.
Other Williams names in Jordon Cem.: Albert, Eliza, Oschar, Hiram, Mary, Jerome, Nettie, ....diah C. (stone embedded), Nancy, Obadiah, Delia, Charles.

Thank you so much. This confirms that my great grandfather Jerome is the son of Bryant and Jane. Parthenia Ritchie lived with Jerome and his wife Ann Eliza in Bellevue Kentucky and is listed as his sister in the 1880 census. I suspect that other siblings are Hiram, Bryant, unknown female Lentriller, Jane Birdsong and a fourth daughter I have not yet discovered. I am so appreciative of your replies. Are the Jordan cemetery listings on line?

Bryant Williams and Jane Hart were married 1 March 1793 Winslow, Kennebec, Maine. Jane is probably a relative of my ancestor, John Hart, as there is mention of John Hart and Bryant Williams in a court document in Kennebec Co. Bryant and Jane had a daughter, Jane, who married a Starbird, probably Aaron, as there is a Jane Starbird who appears to be the wife of Aaron in the 1850 census. There is still a Starbird pond in Hartland near where the Starbirds, Williams and Harts lived.

Thank you for the reply. I am interested in John Hart. Do you have any information about his date of birth or parentage? Was he old enough to be Jane's father or was he a sibling? Jane Hart is one of my brick walls.I do have a different date of marriage for Jane and Bryant. I had 2/11/1798 as the date. Can you tell me where you found 1/1/1793? We are descended from the youngest of their children, Jerome Boneparte Williams.Thanks again for any help you can provide.
