I'm glad you contacted me, sorry I didn't get back sooner. This went to my yahoo mailbox which I don't check that often so, that's probably why. Anyway, I'm not really sure where I got the info on Hannah Reed. Probably from someone else's tree. I have a bad habit of NOT writing down my sources. I'm glad though that Reed may just be her maiden name. I just wish we could find records beyond Patrick Powers. It's funny, I wish I was into genealogy when I was growing up. In one of the towns I was living in, our next door neighbor was an elderly lady named Powers. Not sure whether she was widowed or just a spinster lady, but had I known I had Powers in my tree, I'd have been bold enough to ask her. I highly doubt she's alive now, she was in her 60's or 70's then, and that was 1979-80. Oh the opportunities we miss.
