I've checked the usual sources, to no avail. Dorothy was adopted at age 2 by Augustus W. Kimball and his second wife, Mary Ham Kimball, of Dexter, Penobscot Co. Identifying her birth parents seems impossible, but I was hoping for a yearbook photo. The 1920 Census shows Dorothy, age 18, boarding in the household of Harold H. Allan in Augusta and says she'd attended school since Sept. 1, 1919, so I'm assuming she was a student at Cony.
