Wondering if anyone has detailed knowledge of the 1860 to 1870 household of Capt/Col Henri Mortimer Favrot?
I am researching my ancestor Maggie Harper that was supposed to have lived with the Favrot's for quite some time. She is said to have left the household around the time the Favrot daughters were presented in New Orleans. This story does not make sense based on the dates of birth for daughters Corrine and Louise Favrot, 1878 and 1880. I see an earlier daughter Marie J. Samson, born 1854 listed on some Favrot family trees. Were there in fact earlier children from a prior marriage?
