Octave Albert Brackin, Jr, b. 1922, Carville, Louisiana, married October 26, 1946, Baton Rouge, Louisiana (St. Agnes) to Nelwyn Rita Templet, b. August 30, 1923, Avoca Island, St. Mary Parish, Louisiana.

Nelwyn was daughter of Louis Nicholas Templet and Nellie Beatrice Babin. She had at least one sister, Mary Lou Templet who married James Riley Shirley.

Nelwyn married April 1976 to Austin W Fisher. I have no further info on this. Did Octave die?

Octave and Nelwyn had two sons.

Douglas Louis Brackin, b. , Baton Rouge, married unknown and had three children.

Rod Michael Brackin, b. , married March 16, , Baton Rouge, to Geralyn Denise Ramirez. They had: Nathan Michael Brackin, ; Amanda Carol Brackin, ; David Joseph Brackin. (I have some partial dates but not sure about posting on the site.)

If you can fill in any blanks, I would appreciate it a lot. Sorry I don't have more for you.
