A while back I was told that my 5 time great grandfather was William McGee (born 1761). I was given a copy of war pension papers with name William Magee and it showed his wife as Margaret. I have only seen 2 sons names, Robert and William. MY 4 time great grandfather was James McGee(1786 to 1836) who married Honor Dorsey (1794 to 1844),that showed William to be James father but I can not locate it now.
I did find in research that Margaret was Margaret James. Do you have James listed as son of this couple, William and Margaret?
