Wonder if anyone has a link to the Falkner or Faulkner name somewhere around 1885-1899. Marriages, births, etc. Lookin for any link around the Cherry Ridge area.

Sharron. Hi I don't have a lot of information on Carrol Faulkner. But I do know that he married Wealthy Manning on 2 August 1855. She was the daughter of Mary Manning. They lived in the area known as Laran which was close to the Cherry Ridge area. She was my ggreatgrandfather John Manning's sister. That is all that I have on him. Hope that it helps you in some way. I have a picture of a tombstone with Falkners from 1884 to 1920...it's very hard to read but some of it is ledgible.

The Cemetery is located near City Park just on the Metarie/New Orleans line...

Some of the names on the stone are Mary. Cecile, James, and a few others I can't make out. I go to cemeteries just to take pictures...I start at one end and work my way down the row.
