We have an ancestor buried in the Mandeville Cemetery, probably in October 1940. (The deed for the plot is dated 10/7/1940).

I can't find his death certificate in the state archives, so I thought I'd try contacting the cemetery to see when he was buried or if they have a death certificate. The cemetery doesn't have records dating back that far.

Would anyone know which funeral homes were around in 1940?

Thanks for any information.
