Seeking information on John J. VINCE born in Lisbon, Portugal about 1860. He left Portugal and went to Nova Scotia during persecution. He came to America and while on the voyage met Marie Therese LAWRENCE (also born in Portugal). They settled in Franklin, St. Mary's Parish, Louisiana and raised 11 children: Emmanuel (Manuel) VINCE (12/5/1891); Edana VINCE Cavalier; Daisy VINCE Robicheaux Labit; Alice VINCE Pitre; Francis VINCE Aucoin; Lena VINCE Bailey (d-9/8/1964); Louis VINCE; Mary VINCE Robicheaux (d-1/8/1965); Frank VINCE; John VINCE; and Anthony VINCE.
