I am searching for a marriage record for John Duffy and Margaret Kerr, who married in Morgan City (then called "Brashear") in St. Mary Parish around 1868. They were Irish Catholic. The year is an estimate, as they had their first child in 1870.

I am also looking for a death record and/or cemetery record for John Duffy, who died some time between 1883 and 1897. He was born around 1841 in Ireland, and in 1880 he was a sailor living on Railroad Avenue in Morgan City.
