Does anyone know how to find out if there was a police officer by the name of Louis C. Smith on the NOPD around that time. I finally got my fathers application for SSN and that is the name listed as father on the application, even tho my father went by the name James Joseph Jones born 31 Aug 1927, mother was Lillian August Willford. Any further information would be great.
