I remember this store well when I was growing up. It was located where the new Winn Dixie is now on the corner of Florida Boulevard and Range Avenue. It was very informal. I remember them mostly selling shoes. But I know they had clothes and other things too. After he died his wife reopened another store between Denham Springs and Walker. to be exact on the corner of Florida Boulevard and Palmetto Street. I can not be certain of this but it seems that I remember people saying that before they opened the store that they traveled with the fair or carnival, I geuss I should say.
