HUSSEY, GRIFFITH- am trying to confirm that a certain Abraham Griffith HUSSEY (b. Aug. 28, 1847 Lauderdale Co. MS - d. Jan. 25, 1929 Lone Pine, Evangeline Parish LA) is indeed buried in the Griffin Cemetery near Lone Pine, LA. Also would like to know if he had ever applied/received a CSA pension from the state of Louisiana before he died. He was a member of Co. C, 2nd Miss. Cav., CSA 1863-1865. His mother, Sarah Elizabeth GRIFFITH HUSSEY, was the sister of my gg-grandfather, Samuel Acass GRIFFITH.
