Looking for information on my Greatgrandmother Charlotte Fox. Before her marriage to Greatgrandfather George L. Bird she owned a lot in what was called Hickey Town in East Baton Rouge,LA. Soon after the marriage they sold the lot. I know very little about her only that she died in 1900 on EBR. She is quite a mystery to us to say the less. Greatgrandfather lived with their daughter Pauline and her husband George B. Haynes. Up to the 1880 census they were listed as Mulatto. Pauline died in 1904 and soon after GGrandfather moved,we believe to Lena, LA.
