Looking for information on my Greatgrandmother Charlotte Fox. D/B about 1844 in Louisiana, D/D 1900 in East Baton Rouge. She own land in Hicky Town in East Baton Rouge in late 1860's. Married Greatgrandfather George L. Bird about the same time. 1870 census has the family listed as Mulatto. Can not find either ggrandparents before the 1860's. Census has both of their parents being born in Louisiana. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
