You have some very good information! I'll give you my information that I am sure of. My Isaac Miller b. c 1854 d. 20 Oct 1952 m "Queenie" Shockley and a daughter Sudie b. c 1888 Minden LA and Ida Victoria b 10 jan 1883 Mindon, LA d 20 oct 1968 who was my great grandmother. There were brothers but I don't feel sure of their names. Ida married a much older man, Ambrose Henderson Buckley 29 June 1910. All of these people are buried at the Strong Cemetery, Shelbyville, Shelby, Texas. The family story on Isaac is that in LA he shot his brother-in-law off of his horse over a dispute about a chicken and then ran across the river into texas in the with his son in the dark of the night! I thought he had killed him. I feel sure there must be documentation of such a shooting and I can't seem to sort out all the Isaacs!
