ALEXANDER WHITE was born about 1816 in La., probably in Catahoula Parish. About 1843 he married SARAH A. LANGLEY and they had at least 5 children: N.T. WHITE, JAMES CLAY WHITE (married Lucy RICHARDSON), FRANCIS M. WHITE, THOMAS FRANK WHITE (MARRIED Josephine RICHARDSON) AND MINNIE JOSEPHINE WHITE (married James FORSYTHE).
ALEXANDER WHITE was on the Catahoula Parish Grand Jury in 1833, bought land in the parish in 1845 and was still living there in 1850.
