Levi Wooten was from North Carolina and lived in Catahoula Parish and Caldwell Parish where he owned a large farm he died around 1840 in Caldwell Parish according to his succession and probate papers I know he owned slaves because my gggrandmother Harriet was listed in the inventory with her baby boy Bob that is all the information I have on him and her other than his Wife name Elizabeth Holt Oliver Wooten and sons William L Wooten and Lyrquist Wooten not sure if that is the correct spelling. I am trying to find out when he came to that area and who he brought to Louisiana his wife is from Tennessee.
